Best Practices for Keeping Your Phone Clean
Mar 16, 2020
Your phone is a germ factory.
How can you keep it clean?
As the coronavirus continues to spread across the globe, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends sanitizing frequently used objects to help prevent the spread of this highly contagious virus.
Coronaviruses can remain infectious on inanimate surfaces at room temperature for up to 9 days.
How many days do you actually sanitize your surfaces? How can you efficiently and effectively clean your phone?
The following suggestions will help you maintain a clean phone:
1. Wipe down your phone thoroughly each day using a microfiber cloth. Remove the case to get in the nooks and crannies of the case. You can use a disinfectant such as a solution of 60% water and 40% rubbing alcohol. Or, you can use warm soap and water if you are concerned about chemicals harming your case.
2. Purchase a cleaning kit that can simply be used anywhere, anytime.
3. Use a UV light to clean your phone. A UV cleaner can kill 99.9% of bacteria and germs in just six minutes! Check out this Phone Soap cleaner.
4.Replace your worn out screen protector and case iif you just want peace of mind. A new case easily replaces what is hoarding all the germs on your phone. It is always a good time to get a new case.
At the end of the day, washing your hands and phone is one of the best ways to prevent the spread of any virus—especially as one study found that 75% of people use their phones on the toilet. Gross!
