What is a matte screen protector?
A matte screen protector has a finish that scatters light instead of bouncing it back at you, so harsh reflections soften considerably. It also changes how the glass feels, with less drag under your thumb. Ours is built on ultra-strong tempered glass, 12X stronger than standard glass screen protectors, so the finish comes with real protection behind it.
Does a matte screen protector make your screen look blurry?
Ours is built for optical clarity first. Text stays sharp, colors stay accurate, and photos still look like photos. A matte finish does diffuse light by design, so there's a very slight softening compared to glossy glass. What you get in return is a screen you can read better outdoors, in a bright office, and under overhead light.
What does a matte finish actually feel like?
Different in a way that's hard to unlearn. The surface has a fine texture that reduces drag, so swiping and scrolling feel smoother and your thumb moves without that slight grab you get on glossy glass.
It also holds fewer fingerprints. Matte diffuses the oil that shows up as smudges on a glossy screen, so it stays looking cleaner between wipes. Combined with precise touch sensitivity edge to edge, it's a screen that feels good to use all day.

How do I install a matte screen protector without bubbles?
Almost every bubble comes from a speck of trapped dust rather than anything you did wrong, so we designed the Express Align® kit around the dust and the alignment both.
Every protector ships with an alignment tray, which settles placement before the adhesive ever touches your screen. Wipe the screen down, lift the last of the dust, set the tray over your phone, and press once in the center. The adhesive pulls itself outward into a smooth, edge-to-edge fit. Any small bubbles usually clear on their own within 24 hours.

I’m honestly starting to question if the quality of this brand has gone downhill. First it was the camera protectors falling off and now it’s the screen protectors cracking after only a few months. My first screen protector was purchased back in Oct. 2025. I’ve had to replace it twice since then and now the replacement I just received at the beginning of August has cracked already.
