WHAT WE TOOK OUT, WHAT WE REINFORCED, AND WHY IT MATTERS IN A CASE
Do clear cases turn yellow, and will this one?
Most do. Clear plastics discolor over time from UV exposure and skin oils, which is why so many clear cases look tired after a few months.
Accent uses anti-yellowing technology to hold its clarity, so it's built to stay clear rather than fade. If yours yellows, we'll replace it under our warranty program.
How much drop protection does the Accent Clear Case have?
Accent is built for 16-ft drop protection, which covers the drops that actually happen: off a counter, out of a pocket, off the roof of a car you forgot you set it on. The rigid back takes the impact so your phone doesn't have to.
The buttons stay easy to find and press, the grip feels natural in hand, and two bottom lanyard anchor points fit most lanyards if you want the extra security.
Why does it matter what a phone case is made of?
Your phone is in your hand all day, which makes your case one of the surfaces you touch most. We think that's worth paying attention to.
Accent is made without forever chemicals (PFAS) or BPA,* verified by a third party. It's also made from recycled materials, so there's less new plastic in the world for the same protection. Cleaner materials in the thing you hold constantly, and no compromise on how well it works.
*No forever chemicals (PFAS) or BPA detected. Third-party verified.
Does the Accent Clear Case work with MagSafe and wireless charging?
Yes. Accent is MagSafe and wireless-charging ready, so your magnetic wallet, car mount, and charging puck all snap on and hold the way they should. Set it on a charging pad and it charges through the case.
No taking the case off, no weak magnetic hold, no guessing whether your accessories will work.

Once I got the case on my phone it was hard getting it off but I love that it fits snug on my phone so my grandkids can't take it off!

Not sure how you folks not have a case that’ll flatter the new burgundy iPhone, but here we are. This is my second case for my new phone. The white doesn’t flatter the burgundy either. Love the quality and lanyard. at first I didn’t think I was going to use the lanyard but now I can’t live without it. I have small hands so sometimes the phone will fall out of my hand if I try to operate the device with one hand. With the lanyard I don’t have to worry about it falling out. I also have clips on my different bags I can clip the lanyard to so if my phone accidentally falls out of an open pocket or anything it won’t fall too far.
We’ll see how badly this yellows despite their anti-yellowing guarantee. My previous bodyguardz case (clear confetti) yellowed after a year or two, but it wasn’t too bad until my third year.
