Opened box, installed screen protector. Noticed there was a visible crack on the side next to the phones screen. Multiple bubbles that never went away.

...on my new iPhone, like it always did on my older one. As drop prone as I am with mobile devices it is hard to say how many cracked screens the Apex has protected me from...all of them. It is worth the extra cost, and easy to install.

I have been disappointed with Apex screen protectors. Two have cracked just trying to get phone out of a tight pocket. I didn’t drop my phone either time. The free lifetime replacements apparently doesn’t apply to this one. It also doesn’t go as close to the edge as the old ones did.

I’ve been buying Bodyguardz protectors for all my devices for the last 8 years. This generation of screen protectors is not nearly as strong as previous ones. In the last 8 years, I scratched 1 protector and cracked another. In the last 10 months, I’ve cracked 3 of these and they have all gotten scratched. I have not changed cases and I have not dropped my phone more often. These protectors are just not as durable as they were previously. When the protector has cracked, my phone screen was saved, but the protectors didn’t used to crack this easily. I have a huge scratch on the protector currently, but I’ll wait to replace it because they made replacements more expensive and I know it’ll scratch again immediately.

Best screen protectors. I’ve been buying these ever since they launched. Never liked any other brands. On my recommendation, all my friends and family also use these. Not to mention the great customer support. Hope they won’t increase the price due to tariffs.
